Lexmark cartridges - an overview

Lexmark cartridges are actually manufactured with the print head incorporated into the cartridge bottle. Most other printer manufacturers integrate the printer head in the printer itself. The advantage then of using Lexmark ink cartridges is that the print quality remains exceptionally high as in effect you are getting a new printer head each time you buy a new ink cartridge.

Lexmark promotes their printer ink as high resolution producing precise images and text, water resistant and fade resistant and pigment based for laser quality text.

When buying Lexmark cartridges on the internet you have the choice of buying OEM cartridges or compatible cartridges. OEM cartridges are the most expensive as they are the original manufacturers cartridges. Compatible Lexmark ink cartridges are much cheaper and do the job just as effectively assuming you have bought from a merchant who provides quality products.
